The Indian Caucus of Secaucus app is a community app for our 501(c)(3) nonprofit — events and free tickets, donations, a community feed, meetups, a local directory, programs, and volunteer tools. It is designed for a general teen-and-adult community audience.
Recommended age & rating
- Recommended for ages 13 and up.
- Apple App Store: rated 13+.
- Google Play: rated Teen (IARC).
- The app is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly create accounts for them. A parent or guardian uses their own account to manage family participation (for example, logging a child's volunteer hours by name — the child does not get a separate account).
Why this rating
The app includes social features — a community feed, member messaging, photos, and member-posted listings (marketplace, rentals, jobs). Because members can communicate and share content, the app is rated for teens and up rather than young children.
It contains no violence, sexual content, profanity, drugs, gambling, or unrestricted web browsing. It is a positive, culturally-focused community space.
How we keep content appropriate
- Reporting on every post, photo, listing, message, and profile.
- Blocking so members can stop contact from anyone.
- Human moderation that removes content and bans accounts that break the rules.
- Our Community Guidelines and Child Safety Standards govern what is allowed.
