No refunds
All payments made to Indian Caucus of Secaucus — including event tickets, donations, vendor spot fees, sponsorship packages, and event program advertising — are final and non-refundable.
As a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit, all funds go directly toward community programming and event operations. We are unable to issue refunds once payment has been processed.
Ticket pricing
Ticket prices are subject to change and may increase as an event approaches (for example, early-bird pricing ends and general pricing begins). The price shown at the time of purchase is the price you pay; there are no price adjustments, credits, or refunds for tickets bought earlier or later at a different price. All ticket sales are final.
Rain or shine
All Indian Caucus of Secaucus events are held rain or shine. Events will not be cancelled or postponed due to weather. Vendor fees and sponsorship payments are not refundable in the event of inclement weather.
In the rare case that an event must be cancelled entirely by the organization (not due to weather), we will make reasonable efforts to credit or roll over vendor and sponsorship payments to the next event.
Donations
Charitable donations are non-refundable. All donations are tax-deductible to the extent permitted by law. You will receive an email receipt upon completing your donation that serves as your tax record.
Vendor and sponsorship spots
Vendor table, food vendor, and program advertising payments are non-refundable once submitted. If you need to transfer your spot to another individual or business, please contact us at least 7 days before the event and we will do our best to accommodate the request.
Permits are the vendor's responsibility
Food vendors must obtain their own permit from the Town of Secaucus Health Department, and must meet every condition that permit carries. No refund is given if a vendor fails to apply in time, is refused a permit, does not supply the documents the town asks for, or is closed down, refused permission to operate, or removed by the town, the health department, the fire department or any other authority — before or during the event.
This applies however late it happens, including on the day. The decision is the town's and not ours, we are not told in advance, and the booth fee covers the space we reserved and held for you, which we cannot resell once the event has begun.
If a refund is issued
Refunds are not something you are entitled to under this policy. If we do issue one at our discretion — as an exception, not a right — processing fees are not returned. The card processor keeps its fee on a refunded payment, so the amount refunded is the payment less that fee.
Fees paid to a third party are also outside any refund we can make. A food vendor's Town of Secaucus permit fees are paid to the town, not to us; we never receive that money and cannot return it. The same applies to any licence or permit fee charged by another body.
