What is the difference between Garba and Dandiya?+
Both are traditional Gujarati folk dances performed during Navratri. Garba is danced in circles with clapping and graceful hand movements, while Dandiya Raas uses a pair of colorful sticks (dandiya) struck in rhythm with a partner. Our night features both.
What should I wear?+
Traditional attire is encouraged and part of the fun — chaniya choli for women and kediyu or kurta for men — but everyone is welcome in whatever they’re comfortable in.
