Every fall, the Indian Caucus of Secaucus transforms Buchmuller Park into a glowing celebration of Diwali — the most beloved festival in the Indian calendar. Hundreds of families from across Hudson, Bergen and Essex counties gather for an afternoon and evening of light, color, music and community.
You’ll find a stage of live classical and Bollywood performances, a rangoli art competition, rows of hand-lit diyas, a marketplace of local Indian vendors and artisans, activities for kids, and food stalls serving chaat, dosa, biryani, sweets and more. It’s a Diwali the whole community can share — no matter your background.
